The head of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen ordered the formation of a new government under the title "Change and Construction".

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): A few days after the election of the new Prime Minister of Sana'a government, Mehdi al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, the formation of a new government under the title of "Change and Construction" in Sana'a headed by "Ahmad Al-Rahavi" announced.

Based on the order issued by Mehdi Al-Mashat, the government of change and construction will be formed in Sana'a with 21 ministers.

"Mohammed Miftah" was elected as the deputy prime minister, "Mohammed Al-Madani" was elected as the deputy prime minister in administrative affairs and local and rural development in this government.

Also, "Mohammed Al-Atafi" the Minister of Defense of Yemen, "Abdul Karim Al-Houthi" the Minister of the Interior and "Jalal Al-Ravishan" remained in their positions as the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs.

Ahmed Al-Rahavi, the prime minister responsible for the formation of the government in Sana'a, in a meeting with Mehdi Al-Mashat, emphasized that the government of change and construction will make every effort to meet the demands of the Yemeni people and find a solution to the problems caused by the aggression of the American-Saudi coalition.

In this context, knowledgeable Yemeni sources emphasized that many efforts are being made to make radical changes in the government structure of this country and that these changes need time; Because a heavy legacy has been left from the miserable situation caused by the mistakes of the previous governments, as well as the aggression of the American-Saudi coalition and the heavy blockade against Yemen.

While Yemen has been ruled by the interim government for the past 10 months, a few days ago, Mehdi Al-Mashat, the head of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, appointed Ahmed Ghalib Nasser Majamal Al-Rahavi, the former governor of Abin province in southern Yemen, to be responsible for the formation of the government of "change and Construction" in Sana'a.

Ahmed Al-Rahavi became a member of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen in March 2019. He is a native of Abyan Province located in the south of Yemen and is also considered a member of the Standing Committee of the National Congress Party of Yemen.

He stood in front of the war coalition against Yemen and left the south in 2015, settled in Sana'a, the capital of Yemen, and was appointed as the governor of Abyan province, and then became a member of the Supreme Political Council.

Mahdi al-Mashat also appointed "Abd al-Aziz bin Habtoor", the former prime minister of Sana'a government, as a member of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen.

In the context of these appointments, an informed source reported to Al-Mayadin that a radical administrative and multi-stage change is going to be carried out, which includes government structures, ministries, government institutions, etc., and also includes a radical change in the government.

Abdul Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen's Ansarullah movement, announced last month that the formation of the new government in Sana'a was delayed due to the time-consuming efforts to clean up Yemen's government institutions. Because in some ministries and government institutions, there were a number of elements affiliated with the enemy who tried to defeat, obstruct and corrupt affairs.
