A four-member Russian badminton team, comprising three athletes and a coach, has arrived in Kabul to participate in championship competitions.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The team was invited by the National Badminton Federation in collaboration with the General Directorate of Olympic, Physical Education, and Sports.
According to a statement from the National Olympic Committee’s media office, the championship, organized by the National Badminton Federation with the support of the General Directorate of Olympic, Physical Education, and Sports, will feature 24 athletes from Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Russia.
The competition is set to begin tomorrow and will be held over three days at the 2,500-capacity gymnasium of the Directorate.
Athletes in both junior and senior categories will compete for the championship title in this series of matches.
