Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The clashes of the last few days have occurred in the Parachenar region of Pakistan after the Takfiri militia groups attacked this Shiite region with heavy weapons, killing 44 people and injuring dozens of others.

According to Pakistani media reports, the initial conflict took place in Bashira, a village on the outskirts of Parachenar, the center of Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, over a piece of agricultural land and spread to other areas.

According to Pakistan Today, after six days of conflict, the police claimed to establish a ceasefire in several areas of Kurram district.

Many Shiite leaders of this country have condemned these conflicts in their statements in the past days as the result of the extremists' conspiracy to put pressure on the Shiites of Parachenar region.

The city of Parachenar is located in the Koram region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and is located near the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan, which has witnessed sectarian violence in recent years, as a result of which the Shiite community has suffered many casualties.

At the same time, Allama Nasir Abbas Jafari, a member of the Senate of Pakistan and the head of the Majlis Vahdat Muslimeen party, also expressed his concern about the escalation of the security situation in Parachenar and demanded a serious action by the army and the government's law enforcement agencies against security disruptors, Takfiri elements and their accomplices.

He warned that the enemies and their terrorist supporters are under a pre-planned conspiracy to destroy the situation in Parachenar and spread it to other areas of Pakistan.

Jafari added that if the government and the army do not take timely measures to punish the terrorists, people from all parts of Pakistan will march towards this area to defend the oppressed of Parachenar.

Local sources in Pakistan reported that security officials in Parachenar decided to cut off mobile phone and internet services in this area, fearing the escalation of the current situation.

The city of Parachenar, the center of the Koram tribe region, where the majority of the population is Shia, is located in the northwest of Pakistan, and in 2018, it was annexed to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa state along with other parts of the tribal areas.
