He considers the reason for it to be the special geographical location of Badakhshan, which grows the fruit naturally.

Saraji announced the improvement of the horticulture process in Badakhshan province compared to previous years and added: "Several years ago, traditional horticulture was popular among farmers, but with the efforts of the government, this process has changed, and agricultural products that are resistant to pests and of good quality are obtained. .

He stated that Chaharmaghz, almonds, pistachios, apricots, mulberries, cherries, cherries and apples are the major part of the horticulture products of Badakhshan province and these products are sold nationwide.

The director of agricultural affairs of the Department of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of Badakhshan province said about the construction of productive gardens in this province that with the cooperation of foreign and domestic institutions, about 806 acres of gardens have been built in 17 districts and actions will be taken to expand this process. According to him, their goal is to market agricultural products of Badakhshan province in Afghanistan and the world.

Meanwhile, a number of gardeners in Badakhshan province say that people's gardening methods are being standardized and improved with the cooperation of the government, and this process has had a positive effect on the gardeners' economy.

It is said that there are more than 56 thousand hectares of irrigated land and 361 thousand hectares of dry land in Badakhshan province.
