Maulavi Noor jalal Jalali discussed the improvement of polio laboratory equipment in Afghanistan in a meeting with officials of the World Health Organization (WHO).

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: According to a press release from the Ministry, the meeting focused on efforts to eradicate polio in Afghanistan, fully operationalizing the polio laboratory, and addressing the challenges faced by the polio program

The Acting Minister emphasized the importance of having a fully functional polio laboratory in the country and requested support for the remaining equipment and capacity building.

WHO officials assured that they would expedite the completion of the remaining laboratory equipment and expand the services provided by the polio program in Afghanistan.
