Inauguration of 84 public welfare projects in Espra district, Khost province, is an important step forward in the development of local infrastructure.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: The projects, with a total investment of 121 million AFN, were implemented across 71 villages in the district.
At the ceremony, Mawlawi Inayat-ur-Rahman Jalali, Head of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in Khost, highlighted the scope of the projects, which included the construction of water intakes, retaining walls, canals, village roads, and the building and repairing of roads.
The projects were completed over nearly one and a half years, funded by UNOPS, with the support of local communities and supervision from the Community Driven Development Organization (CDDO).
Meanwhile, Mawlawi Abdul Qayum Rouhani, Governor of Khost, commended the successful completion of these projects, noting that the establishment of security in the country has enabled the Islamic Emirate to implement various public welfare projects not only in urban centers but also in border areas and districts.
