Acting Minister of Labor and Social Affairs announced new changes in the labor law of Afghanistan in the "National Labor Meeting" conference in Kabul with the aim of meeting the needs of the day and said that by raising this issue, most of the problems in the labor sector will be solved. On the other hand, other officials of the Islamic Emirate demanded the lifting of banking and commercial sanctions on Afghanistan by the international community.


Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: A ceremony entitled "National Work Meeting" was held today before noon on Tuesday, July 23, with the presence of high-ranking government officials and the media in order to fight unemployment at the country level. 

In this meeting, Maulvi Abdul Kabir, political deputy of the Prime Minister's Office, said, referring to the financial sanctions and the blocking of the caretaker government's resources, however, the current government of the country has made a lasting effort to solve the unemployment problem in the country.

He also announced that Afghanistan is getting closer to an agreement with neighboring countries and the Persian Gulf in terms of creating job opportunities.

On the other hand, Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the Prime Minister of the caretaker government, in a message to the National Labor Conference, asked donor organizations and countries to cooperate with the people of the country in the field of employment and job search.

In his message, he announced creating job opportunities for the people as one of the priorities of the caretaker government.

In the meantime, Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, emphasized the cooperation of countries with the people of Afghanistan in this meeting and said that the international community has not only failed to fulfill its responsibility in providing an alternative livelihood for the country's peasants, but on the contrary, it has provided all the banking facilities. and commercial Afghanistan has imposed restrictions.

On the other hand, Mullah Hedayatullah Badri, Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, announced in this meeting that 40,000 people are directly and indirectly employed in the country's mining sectors and added that the ministry is trying with all its might to provide better investment opportunities for domestic businessmen. and provide foreign

At the same time, Nooruddin Azizi, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade, emphasized on creating job opportunities for the country's citizens in the "National Labor Meeting" and said that this ministry has distributed licenses to 1,000 industrial manufacturing companies, based on which there will be job opportunities for thousands of people in the country. Meanwhile, Maulavi Abdulmanan Omari, Acting Minister of Labor and Social Affairs today, during the discussion of the national labor meeting in Kabul, asked Afghan investors residing in foreign countries to transfer their investments to the country.

He stated that the Ministry of Labor has made adjustments in the labor law keeping in mind the needs of the day and added that most of the problems in the labor sector will be solved with its proposal, also the rights of the workers will be secured and legal and reasonable solutions will be found to the existing concerns.

Abdul Manan Omari said: Due to several decades of war and occupation in Afghanistan, the work sector, livelihood system and infrastructure of the country have been severely damaged.

Omari added: The caretaker government considers the fight against unemployment as one of its main responsibilities and priorities and has launched various projects through the relevant departments to solve it.

In this meeting, with the aim of developing the labor market, increasing job opportunities and combating unemployment, he emphasized the participation of the private sector in job search and added that currently more than one million people are working in government offices and some others are working in the private sector.
