On Sunday, July 21st, Joe Biden, the current president of the United States, announced his support for his vice president, Kamala Harris, by publishing a message on X social network.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Biden wrote on X social network: "My first decision as a Democratic party candidate in 2020 was to choose Kamala Harris as the vice president and it was the best decision I made. "Today I want to announce my full support for Kamala as our party's candidate this year."

He added: "Democrats!" It's time to unite and defeat Trump. Let's do it."

In his resignation statement, Joe Biden also mentioned the achievements of his presidency and said that these actions were made possible with the cooperation of the American people.

He added that he will talk to the American people about his decision to withdraw from the election next week.

In response to Biden's withdrawal from the race, Donald Trump, the Republican candidate in the US presidential election, said that he was "by far the worst president in the history of our country".

In a telephone interview with CNN, Trump mentioned the possibility of the nomination of Kamala Harris, the vice president of the United States, as the choice of the Democratic Party in the upcoming elections, and added that defeating her will be easier than defeating Biden.
