In the last 24 hours, 4,233 Afghan migrants have returned to the country through Nimroz, Islam Qala in Herat, and Torkham in Nangarhar, both voluntarily and forcibly.

Afghan voice Agency (AVA)-Monitoring:  According to reports from the provincial border authorities, the returnees include 927 individuals from Pakistan and 3,405 from Iran.

The returnees were directed to the offices of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the World Food Programme (WFP) for necessary assistance and support.
