A commercial vessel has reportedly come under attack off the Yemen coast, as the country’s armed forces continue attacks in retaliation for the regime’s genocidal war on Gaza.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: Britain’s maritime safety agency, UKMTO, said the attack was carried out 64 nautical miles northwest of Yemen’s Mokha, near the strategic Bab el-Mandeb Strait on Saturday.
The agency went on to say that the vessel was hit twice by drones, adding that the ship continued its voyage despite sustaining damage, without identifying it.  
UMMTO further noted that an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) first hit the vessel, causing minor damage.
An unmanned surface vessel also exploded near the vessel in the second attack, the agency said, with both the crew and vessel being safe.
UKMTO also stated that the vessel later reported a missile “splashing in close proximity,” which appears to have been a failed missile strike.
The latest development came a day after Yemen’s Army attacked a Singaporean-flagged cargo vessel in the Gulf of Aden, in a continuation of operations retaliating against the Israeli genocide in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Yemen has been conducting anti-Israel operations since October, in an attempt to bring a halt to the ongoing massacre of Gazans at the hands of the Zionist regime.
The Yemenis have made it clear that they will not hesitate to carry out qualitative operations against all hostile targets in defense of their homeland and reaffirmation of their unwavering support for the Palestinian nation.
Yemeni Armed Forces have said that they won’t stop their attacks until unrelenting Israeli ground and aerial offensives in Gaza end.
In the tenth month of the war on the Gaza Strip, at least 38,919 people have been killed, according to the Gaza health ministry's latest figures.
The toll includes 71 deaths in 48 hours, according to ministry figures, which also list 89,622 people as having been wounded in the territory since October 7./Press tv
