Australian military officials have announced that the country is investigating the issue of paying compensation to the families of Afghans who were illegally killed by Australian forces.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Australia is going to pay compensation to the families of Afghans who were illegally killed by that country's forces in Afghanistan.

In 2020, a report was published that Australian soldiers killed thirty-nine prisoners and Afghan civilians between 2005 and 2016 in Afghanistan.

According to Australian military officials, news has been published that after the confirmation of this report by the Chief of Staff, the Australian government will investigate the issue of paying compensation to the families of the dead Afghans.

It should be mentioned that Australia had about 400 military forces alongside NATO in Afghanistan and these forces were occupying and killing Afghans.
