Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): US President Donald Trump, without mentioning details, said that he had a conversation with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman over the past 6 months.

In this interview with Bloomberg, which was conducted on July 25 (5th of Cancer) and published on Tuesday, Trump said that he does not think that the increase in US oil and gas production will upset the Saudis, who want to maintain their superiority in the energy market.

In this regard, he mentioned his personal relationship with Ben Salman and said: "He loves me and I love him too." They always need to be supported and are not naturally protected. "I always protect them."

The US presidential candidate also accused US President Joe Biden and former President Barack Obama of destroying relations with Saudi Arabia and said they have pushed Riyadh towards China.

"They're not with us anymore, they're with China," Trump said. But they don't want to be with China, they want to be with us."

Bloomberg writes that beyond US foreign relations, Trump has more reasons to have warm relations with the Saudis and hundreds of millions of dollars are involved.

At the beginning of this month (July), the "Trump Organization" and the "Company" unveiled their plans to build "Trump Tower" and a luxury hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The investment fund founded by Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner has also received $2 billion in capital from Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund.

Trump: I don't like sanctions; Taiwan must pay
In another part of this interview, he was asked about America's commitment to defend Taiwan against China, and he said: "Taiwan has taken away the chip business from us. How are we so stupid? "They have taken all the chip business from us and are immensely rich."

Bloomberg writes that what Trump wants is for Taiwan to pay the US to support it.

"I don't think we're any different than an insurance policy," he asks. Why? Why are we working like this?

The American media continued to write that another reason for Trump's doubts about Taiwan is the difficulty of defending a small island on the other side of the world.

"Taiwan is 9,500 miles from America but 68 miles from China," he says.

Bloomberg writes: "Abandoning the commitment to Taiwan represents a significant shift in US foreign policy, and this is as important as ending support for Ukraine, but Trump seems ready to fundamentally change these relations."

Europeans treated America very badly
Regarding trade with Europe, Trump believes that "the European Union, Germany and Scotland are very nice, but they have treated the United States ruthlessly."

He points to Europe's reluctance to import automotive and agricultural products from the US as the main drivers of the more than $200 billion trade deficit, and says this is a vital measure of economic equality between the two sides.

Trump refers to a conversation he had with former German chancellor Angela Merkel and said: "I said to Merkel, Angela, how many Fords or Chevrolets are there in downtown Munich?"

"Oh, I don't think there are many," Trump says, mimicking Merkel's German accent. He replied: "How can we say nothing?"

Referring to the Europeans, the former American president said: "They treated us very badly, but I was changing all this and that attitude."
