Following the end of the counting of votes in the second round of the Iranian presidential election and the announcement of its results, the Minister of Interior of this country in a press conference on Saturday morning, July 6, while congratulating the elected president, Masoud Mezikian, and thanking the other election candidates, said: The election of the 14th presidential election has ended in full security, health and serious competition of candidates and the participation of 30 million people of Iran, and Mr. Masoud Pezeshkian was elected by the people as the president.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: Ahmad Vahidi, in a press conference with journalists based in the Ministry of Interior of Iran, stated that it is necessary to thank all those who played a role in these elections, all the institutions and ministries involved in holding the elections. He thanked the presidency, the three-member council and acting president, the guardian council, the central executive board and the forces of the Ministry of Interior.
He continued: "The nation saw that the elections were held in perfect peace, and today the competition turns into friendship and cooperation to achieve the progress of the country."
Vahidi continued: Districts, provincial authorities and the Ministry of Interior held several intensive elections in these few months. The Ministry of Information faced the enemy's plots during these days. The judiciary also helped to prevent disruptions in the work of the elections. 
He added: Martyr Raisi and his government were true to their promises and we learned from them to run the affairs of the country well. Some people said wrong things and tried to damage the elections, but the people saw that the elections were held in perfect health.
Earlier, after the counting and totaling of all the votes of the second round of the Iranian presidential election, Mohsen Eslami, the spokesperson of the election headquarters of this country, appeared to the journalists and presented a final report on the results of the vote counting;
The total number of votes counted and aggregated: 30,530,157 votes
The votes of Mr. Masoud Pezeshkian: 1,6384,403 votes
Mr. Saeed Jalili's votes: 13538179 votes
Participation percentage: 49.8
Based on this, Mr. Masoud Pezeshkian was introduced as the candidate for the 14th term of the presidential elections of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The first phase of this election was held on Friday, June 28.
