Naim Qassem, Deputy Secretary General of Lebanon's Hezbollah, considered the movement's support for Gaza to be a "preemptive defense" and said that Hezbollah believes that it should take back Lebanon's territory from the Zionist regime.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: "Naeem Qasim", Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, emphasized today Saturday that the defense of Gaza should not be exclusive to the axis of resistance, but that all Arabs and Muslims should defend it.

During a speech in Beirut, Qassem addressed those who protested Hezbollah's support for Gaza and said: "We are fulfilling our duty, but those who claim humanitarianism, you are against the global oppression of Israel and America [in Gaza]. What is your position?"

He also emphasized: "We believe in taking back our land." Recapturing the land is also not possible except through resistance and in the triple form of army-nation-resistance".

The Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah pointed out: "Any proposal that is related to the Security Council, the United Nations and major countries will definitely increase the occupation and the loss of our land and country."

Emphasizing the necessity of maintaining and strengthening the flow of resistance and its effectiveness in every war, Qassem stated: "Our support of Gaza is a preemptive defense that is obligatory and necessary in our opinion and is considered part of our future in Lebanon and the region.
