Canada asked its citizens to leave Lebanon

27 Jun 2024 - 9:01

Following the escalation of tensions between Lebanon's Hezbollah and the Zionist regime, Canada's Ministry of Foreign Affairs demanded the departure of its citizens from Lebanon.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Canada's Foreign Minister Melanie Jolly called on her citizens to leave Lebanon yesterday (Tuesday) in a statement warning of the risk of escalation of tension between the Zionist regime and Hezbollah in the region.

According to AFP, Melanie Jolie urged Canadians to leave the country while commercial flights are still operating.

He continued: "The security situation in Lebanon is becoming increasingly unstable and unpredictable due to the continuous and increasing violence between Hezbollah and Israel, and it may worsen without prior warning."

These warnings have been raised at a time when the local media reported the repetition of the Zionist regime's military aggression in areas in southern Lebanon this morning (Wednesday).

Since the implementation of the "Al-Aqsa Storm" operation by the fighters of the Hamas resistance movement on October 7, 2023, the Zionists have been carrying out artillery and air attacks on southern Lebanon in addition to the Gaza Strip.

American officials and organizations warned that the consequences of entering into a full-scale war with the Lebanese Islamic Resistance Movement would be very heavy.
