Afghanistan wants to develop relations with Southeast Asian countries
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that the Acting Minister of the Ministry said in a meeting with the Indonesian delegation that Afghanistan's relations with the international community are expanding and that Kabul is interested in developing its relations with Southeast Asian countries as well.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Press Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate published a newsletter saying that Muhammad Yusuf Kala, the former vice president of Indonesia and the head of the Red Crescent Society and the Council of Mosques of this country and his delegation with Maulavi Amir Khan Muttaqi.
 
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that Muhammad Yusuf Kala said in this meeting that Indonesia wants to cooperate with Afghanistan in the field of health and also provide scholarships for Afghan students.
 
He added that his country wants to expand relations with Afghanistan in various fields.
 
On the other hand, Maulavi Amir Khan Muttaqi said in this meeting that due to its strategic position, Afghanistan has created facilities for trade, investment and transit between Central and South Asia and is now working on large regional economic projects with the cooperation of regional countries, which include The projects are Casa-1000, Tapi and Afghan-Trans.
 
Mr. Muttaqi also added that Afghanistan's relations with the international community are expanding and he is interested in developing his relations with Southeast Asian countries.
