Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: This terrorist group claimed responsibility for the explosion last night on Thursday, May 9.
This explosion occurred yesterday in the "Pol Jozon Bridge of Old Shahr" area of the third district of Faiz Abad city on a military convoy of the Islamic Emirate using a motorcycle full of explosives.
Ehsanullah Kamgar, the spokesperson of Badakhshan Province Police, told Ava reporter yesterday: Around 11 o'clock in the afternoon today, Wednesday, a sticky mine ring embedded in a motorcycle exploded in Jozon area of Faizabad city and targeted the convoy of security forces.
He added: "The security forces were on their way to destroy the poppy fields, but unfortunately they encountered this explosion and three soldiers lost their lives and five others were injured."
He stated that the investigation of the detection and security forces has started on how this explosion happened.
