Enlightenment of the Imamate of the Jafari School against the deception and hypocrisy of the Abbasid government; Lessons and teachings
Although the infallible imams, peace be upon them, do not differ from each other in terms of imamate and preceptorship, they are "one and the same head", just as Imam Khamenei (may God bless him and grant him peace) also had a book entitled the 250-year-old human being which refers to the same topic, but due to the situations of each Among the infallibles, peace be upon them, they have characteristics that other infallibles do not have, that is why Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, also has characteristics that are not present in the imams before and after him. However, dealing with all those features is beyond the scope of this discussion. But in the following, for the sake of brevity, we will mention two features of Imam Sadiq's era.
The first feature
During the Imamate of Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) due to conflicts between the Umayyads and the Abbasids over the seizure of sovereignty and caliphate and its concurrence with the period of the Imamate of the Sixth Imam (114 to 148 AH during the Imamate of the Sixth Imam) and the decline and decline of the Umayyad dynasty (132 AH). A special feature emerged, that although the Shia religion in the third year of the Prophethood and with the revelation of verse 214 of Surah al-Shaaraa "And warn the family of the relatives", the beloved Prophet of Islam, established the intellectual foundation and even the name of Shiism, but the emergence and manifestation of The institutionalization of the Shia religion and the formalization of the Shia religion with the blessed name of the Holy Prophet, "Jafari Religion" happened at this time.
The imam made the most of this opportunity to propagate the Shia religion, which is the pure Islam of Muhammad (pbuh) and to express the jurisprudence of Islam by forming study groups, which according to history, the number of his students during his imamship is more than 4000 people. and even two of the leaders of the Sunni sects, Imam Abu Hanifah (r.a.), the head of the Hanafi sect, and Malik bin Anas, the head of the Maliki sect, studied under him, and Shafi'i and Ahmad ibn Hanbal are also considered to be among the students of the Prophet's students.
Therefore, with the spread of Islamic teachings, jurisprudence and rules of pure Muhammadan Islam (PBUH) during the time of Imam Sadiq (PBUH), the Shia religion was recognized as the Jafari religion from that time on.
The second feature
Another characteristic of the time of Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) was the formation of the "hypocritical, deceitful and evasive government of the Abbasids" in the era of Imam (peace be upon him), because the Umayyad and Marwani governments, although they were pure falsehood, but they were naked disbelief, although it was difficult and expensive to deal with them, it was far easier than the government. It was the Abbasids, because the Bani al-Abbas government was a fabric of hypocrisy and distance, which was able to deceive the properties such as Bani al-Hassan, "Abdullah Nafs, Muhammad Nafs Zakiya" and make them part of his infantry. Dealing with such a current that thought "complicatedly" and "acted complicatedly" was so hard and difficult that it made the task for Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) far more difficult and difficult than a military confrontation because:
First; Bani Abbas had taken the path of hypocrisy and by bringing up the Mahdism debate and hiding behind those who apparently had a good image in the eyes of the common people, they were justifying themselves. An example of that is the narration of Abu Al Faraj Esfahani from Umair bin Fazl Khatami. (Mughatal Talibin, p. 239)
Secondly; They entered with a fake face and shouted the slogan "Al-Radhi min al-Muhammad (pbuh)" and with this slogan they were able to bring many Bani Hashim and Shiites with them. And they started their uprising under the title that we want to return the caliphate to the Prophet's family, and they were able to mobilize the public and advance until the fall of the Marwani government. Bani Abbas had even put the color of their flag and clothes on the belief that the Prophet's flag was black, or as a sign of mourning for the family of the Black Prophet. (Al-Kamal fi al-Tarikh, vol. 5, p. 362).
Thirdly; In order to seduce the people, they claimed to have a book that predicted their rule. With such fraudulent tactics, they started to revolt against the Marwanian government and continued until the establishment of the Abbasid government and the elimination of Abdullah Muhd and his son Muhammad Nafs Zakia, who had realized the purpose and secret plan of the Abbasids late.
In the meantime, only Imam Sadiq (a.s) was the one who had read their intentions with his politics and knowledge based on divine and revealed vision, and by not accompanying them and explaining the current issues and currents of that time, he was able to lead the Shia through that complicated political crisis. He did not allow the Shiites to pay for this group of hypocrites, liars, and two-faced people.
Therefore, today and in the present era, the elders and the Shiites and the followers of the school of Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq (a.s), especially in Afghanistan, should consider these two examples of the approach of Imam Sadiq (a.s) in the conditions of that time and by considering and examining the conditions of this time. and hidden hypocrites and forgers who sometimes appear in the clothes of people and language claimants and sometimes hide under the robes of religious authority and try to achieve their base desires in line with the interests of the enemies of religion and religion, schools and the country. Don't let them achieve their evil desires and follow the path and behavior of leaders like Imam Sadiq (a.s) and try to lead the Shiites safely through this historical turning point.
