Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Kabul: Maulavi Hayatullah Mohajer Farahi, Deputy Minister of Publications of the Ministry of Culture and Information and Deputy Governor of Herat, during the unveiling ceremony of a number of newly published books by Bayhaqi Publishing House, said that the book preserves the history and experiences of the past.
Farahi added that, unfortunately, the culture of reading and reading books in our society had faded recently, but Beyhaqi Book Publishing has always tried to bring this culture back to life by publishing and printing books.
According to him; The Ministry of Information and Culture will help and cooperate with authors and researchers in publishing and printing books in order to preserve and protect the country's history and culture.
Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanakzai, political deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that during the period of Jihad and struggle for the freedom of the country, the youth played a very important role and therefore he asked the youth that they should be interested in learning, studying and researching.
Stanekzai added that today the progress and development of the society depends on the level of interest of the people in the society to study and learn.
Addressing the youth, he stated that they should not waste their time and learn, research and learn.
Maulavi Hafez Mohammad Hamed Hasib, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Higher Education of the country, was also present at the unveiling of newly printed books and said that books and pens are one of the tools that transfer knowledge to the next generations of our society.
He demanded that the writers and researchers in the country should be encouraged more so that the future generation can find a more favorable field of knowledge.
Also, Abdul Aleem Zahnawak Muftizadeh, head of Beyhaqi Books Publications under Ministry of Information and Culture, said that this publishing house has published more than 40 books by authors and 12 thousand volumes of the Quran this year.
It should be mentioned that in this gathering, a number of newly published books were introduced, reviewed and criticized by a number of subscribers.
