Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Misbahuddin Mustain, the head of information and public awareness of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, said today (Sunday, February 25) in an interview with AVA reporter that in the 9th meeting of the Supreme Council of the Agriculture Development Fund led by Maulavi Ataullah Omari, head of agriculture, was held in the presence of the members of the leadership board of the fund. The payment of 2.2 billion Afghanis for Islamic financial services for farmers, farmers and entrepreneurs in the agriculture and livestock sectors was approved in the next year.

 

According to him, in this meeting, information was given about the activities of the Agriculture Development Fund in 2023 and plans for 2024 were also shared.

 

He says that the attendees shared their opinions about this year's plan and in some cases, decisions were made to facilitate the fund's activities.

 

This official of the Ministry of Agriculture said that in this meeting, the payment of 2.2 billion Afghanis for farmers, ranchers and entrepreneurs in the agriculture and livestock sectors was approved by the leadership of the Agriculture Development Fund in the coming year.

 

According to Mustain, this amount is paid for the growth and development of agriculture and livestock and the expansion of investment in these sectors for its applicants through the Islamic financial services of Wakalah and Murabahah.

 

He continued that more than 5 thousand farmers will be covered through this amount.

 

Maulavi Ataullah Omari said in this parliament that the services of the Agriculture Development Fund are useful for farmers, gardeners and farmers, try to be more effective in providing Islamic financial services and people can benefit from loans.
