Zabihullah Mujahid: The concerns raised in the Munich meeting are baseless

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, called the joint statement of the foreign ministers of 12 countries at the Munich security meeting, in which they expressed concern about the human rights situation in Afghanistan, groundless and said that the rights of all Afghan citizens are protected.


Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, wrote on the X social network that "spreading concern and creating a sense of threat and fear of Afghanistan, either shows the lack of information of the countries, or some biased people spread false information in such gatherings." They broadcast and present a false image of Afghanistan."
 
Mr. Mujahid said that there is no foreign group in Afghanistan, nor is it allowed to operate in Afghanistan.
 
He also added that during the two-and-a-half-year rule of the Islamic Emirate, there was no threat from Afghanistan to any country.
 
The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate emphasized that strict measures have been taken to fight against narcotics and its cultivation has reached zero.
 
He added that the rights of all citizens, including women, are protected, people enjoy personal, financial, physical and spiritual security.
 
According to his words, the gates of the courts are open to "Afghans" without discrimination and their rights are taken care of.
 
He pointed out that the country has moved towards economic prosperity, the Afghan value has been preserved, big projects have been started, great work has been done in the health, education and construction sectors, and good programs are still being carried out.
 
He also added that despite all these developments, presenting a wrong image of Afghanistan, spreading anxiety and creating a sense of threat and fear of Afghanistan, either shows the weak information of the countries or some biased people spread false information in such meetings and the image they present false information about Afghanistan.
 
Mujahid has stated that "if the conspirators make propaganda no matter how much, Afghanistan will continue to progress and will not wait for anyone's announcements and concerns".
 
It should be mentioned that in the Munich security meeting that is being held, 12 European countries expressed their concern about the human rights situation in Afghanistan and said that this situation in Afghanistan has not changed since last year's meeting.
