The European Union's special representative for Central Asia and the EU's representative for Afghanistan have arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the joint meeting of the European Union and five Central Asian countries.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Terry Hakala, the EU's special representative for Central Asia and Thomas Nicholson, the EU's representative for Afghanistan, have arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the joint meeting of the European Union and five Central Asian countries.
The European Union in Kyrgyzstan has said that these two representatives will discuss Afghanistan with the officials of Central Asian countries.
Meanwhile, the meeting of the special representatives of countries for Afghanistan is scheduled to be held in Doha on February 18 and 19.
Azerbaijani media named "Trend News" has reported that Mrs. Hakala and Mr. Nicholson are supposed to meet with members of Kyrgyzstan's civil society and other officials of this country.
During his trip to Afghanistan on February 5, Mr. Nicholson met with some Taliban officials and Afghan politicians.
He said the purpose of his trip to Afghanistan was to talk and share notes with Taliban officials, other Afghans and diplomatic representatives of countries.
