The main discussion at the Doha meeting is to create a consensus on the appointment of a new UN representative for Afghanistan
Political analysts say that in the Doha meeting, the main discussion will be the creation of a consensus by the United Nations, regarding the appointment of a new representative of this organization for Afghanistan, because the countries of the region differ with Western countries over the appointment of a new representative of the United Nations for Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: These statements of political analysts are raised while the United Nations Security Council recently passed a resolution based on which this organization appoints a special representative for Afghanistan who will discuss how to "interact" with the UAE. This decision of the United Nations was met with the reaction of the Islamic Emirate and the countries of the region.
In response to this UN resolution, the officials of the Islamic Emirate said that the UN currently has three representatives in Afghanistan, including the special representative of the UN Secretary General and the head of UNAMA in Kabul, the UN special coordinator for Afghanistan affairs and the special representative for human rights. UN human beings are in Afghanistan affairs; No other representative is needed.
The Iranian authorities also considered the appointment of a new representative for Afghanistan unnecessary, and the countries of China and Russia also abstained from voting on a United Nations resolution.
Aminullah Ehsaas, a political analyst speaking to AVA, said that in the Doha meeting, the main discussion will be the creation of a consensus by the United Nations regarding the appointment of a new representative of this organization for Afghanistan, because the countries of the region and the Western countries are in conflict with the appointment of the new representative of the United Nations for Afghanistan.
He also emphasized that the discussion on the recognition of the Islamic Emirate, human rights and inclusive governance will not take place in this meeting, because the United Nations and the rest of the world have a lot of differences with the Islamic Emirate on these three issues and they are not reaching a conclusion now.
Mr. Ehsaas emphasized that the evidence shows that there is no basis for the recognition of the Islamic Emirate in the Doha meeting. Accordingly, the focus of this meeting will be more on the issue of building a consensus on the appointment of a new representative of the United Nations in Afghanistan.
This political analyst pointed out that holding any kind of meeting by the United Nations and other countries to improve the situation in Afghanistan has positive effects on the country's citizens, because it shows that the countries are focused on Afghanistan.
He also stressed: If the United Nations and other countries of the world want the situation in Afghanistan to improve and positive changes to take place, they should invite the representative of the Islamic Emirate to their meetings.
At the same time, Sadiq Shinwari, another political analyst, told AVA: the meeting that is going to be held in Doha, the main discussion will be on the implementation of the agreement that was made between the United States and the Islamic Emirate in Doha.
He also emphasized that in this meeting of the United Nations, all the countries of the region will try to integrate the Islamic Emirate into the world and become part of this organization like other countries.
Mr. Shinwari noted that the issue of the United Nations Special Representative for Afghanistan, which is a dispute between the Islamic Emirate and the United Nations, will also be discussed at the Doha meeting.
It is supposed to be held by the United Nations in Doha on the 28th of this month with the presence of special representatives of countries regarding Afghanistan.
