Anti-narcotics management officials of Balkh province say that a large shipment of alcoholic beverages embedded in a car with Uzbek license plate, which was driven by a citizen of this country, was discovered and seized by police forces, and an Uzbek person was also arrested.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-Sharif: Juma Khan, one of the officials of the anti-narcotics management of the Balkh province police command, said regarding the discovery and seizure of a large shipment of alcoholic beverages in this province: a large shipment of alcoholic beverages was embedded in a car. The vehicle with the license plate number of Uzbekistan, which was driven by a citizen of this country, was discovered and seized by the police forces, and the Uzbek driver was also arrested.
He added: "More than 654 liters of alcoholic beverages, which were packed in this car and entered Afghanistan from the land border, were seized and seized by the timely action of police forces near Rouzah Sharif."
He adds that the investigation continues to arrest the colleagues of this Uzbek citizen.
The mentioned traffickers said that the anti-narcotics department does not allow the transport and sale of drugs and alcohol to smugglers and their sellers.
According to the officials, the discovered shipment of alcoholic beverages was entirely Uzbek and the citizen of this country will be handed over to judicial institutions after the investigation.
