While warning Pakistan's neighbors, especially the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, he has said that "when it comes to the safety and security of individual Pakistanis, the whole of Afghanistan can be damned."
Pakistani media, citing General Asim Munir, also reported that "Pakistan has provided food for five million Afghan citizens for 50 years, but when it comes to our children, we will pursue those who attack them."
He also said that "the life of a Pakistani is more important than the whole of Afghanistan."
The Chief of Staff of the Pakistan Army has "cursed" Afghanistan while relations between the Islamic Emirate and the government of Pakistan have turned dark due to the increase in insecurity in Pakistan.
