AVA - Suicide Attack Targets Governor’s Office in Nimruz Province

A suicide bomber was killed and three others were injured near the governor’s office in Nimruz provinc, officials said.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, Abdul Matin Qani, the spokesman of the Interior Ministry, said on X that the attacker was trying to enter the building when he was killed by the security forces.

The explosives he was carrying detonated as a result of which three security officials were injured, he said.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Qasim Khaled, governor of Nimroz, said: “I am absolutely fine. Three of our colleagues were slightly wounded and taken to the hospital.”
