Russian media have reported that Russia plans to produce more than 32,000 drones annually by 2030, with domestic manufacturers accounting for 70 percent of the market.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Tas reporter quoted First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov as saying: "The annual production volume of drones excluding training drones is planned to be 32,500 units. This is almost three times the current production volume. Russia will finance the national drone project with 696 billion rubles ($7.66 billion) until 2030.
Last year, Russian President Vladimir Putin said drones could be used in almost all industries, not just the military. Russia uses armed drones to attack some Ukrainian infrastructure.
