Officials of the Department of Information and Culture in Herat, in a meeting with the head of the cultural department of the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Herat, said that the strengthening of cultural affairs between the two countries has a significant role in expanding relations.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Herat: Dr. Majid Khaleknia, the head of the cultural department of the Iranian consulate in Herat, in a meeting with Rahmatullah Mohammadi, the director of tourism of Herat's information and culture department, emphasized on the development and strengthening of cultural affairs between the two countries.

In this meeting, the cultural representative of the Iranian consulate in Herat said: They are cooperating with the Herat Intelligence and Culture Department in cultural affairs and are trying to work more in coordination with the officials of the Islamic Emirate.

Also, Maulvi Rehmatullah Mohammadi, the head of tourism of the Department of Information and Culture of Herat, while appreciating the activities of the officials of the Iranian consulate in Herat, has requested comprehensive and cultural cooperation with the Department of Information and Culture of Herat.

Molavi Mohammadi stated that the development and strengthening of cultural affairs plays a significant role in improving the fraternal relations between the two countries.

The Minister of Tourism also added: Currently, there are traditional and old handicrafts and arts in Herat, and it is expected that their crafts will be exhibited in the international exhibitions held in Iran.

It should be mentioned that in the last two years, the economic relations between Iran and Afghanistan have reached an acceptable level according to the officials of the two countries.
