The person in charge of Asia programs in the Russian Foreign Ministry has said that the relations with the head office in Kabul are expanding.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: A Russian diplomat emphasized during a discussion at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry that some agreements with the Islamic Emirate are possible.

The Russian media quoted Timofey Bolikov, who is in charge of Asia programs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country, as saying that the relations with the administration in Kabul are expanding.

Bolikov added that Russia wants to expand relations with the Islamic Emirate in order to develop trade and economy.

It should be noted that Zamir Kabulov, Russia's special representative for Afghanistan, had emphasized relations with the caretaker government of Afghanistan in a meeting with the officials of the Islamic Emirate.
