The Prime Minister of Qatar announced the continuation of mediation efforts for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: According to the report of Fars International News Agency, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, said that Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip have complicated the efforts of mediators and worsened the human rights situation in Gaza.
According to the Palestinian Wafa news agency, he met and consulted with the Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority Mohammad Ashtiyeh on the sidelines of the Doha Conference on West Asia.
In this meeting, he emphasized: Israel's continued bombardment of the Gaza Strip after the end of the temporary ceasefire has complicated the efforts for mediation and has aggravated the humanitarian disaster in Gaza.
According to this Qatari diplomat, Doha and its partners are committed to increasing efforts to reduce tensions for a lasting ceasefire.
Since the beginning of the Gaza war, Qatar has been one of the main parties to establish a ceasefire and exchange prisoners between Hamas and the Zionist regime.
In an interview with CNN on Sunday, the Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority, Mohammad Ashtiyeh, emphasized that Israel's claim to remove Hamas is never possible because Hamas is part of the Palestinian political mosaic.
Mohammad Ashtiyeh emphasized: "The issue of placing Gaza under the tutelage is not... We need a comprehensive political solution that will end the suffering of the Palestinians, which began 75 years ago." Referring to this issue, he added: The events in Palestine did not start only on October 7./Fars News
