The Americans want to achieve their illegitimate demands in Afghanistan by sanctioning the officials of the Islamic Emirate
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: On the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the US Treasury has sanctioned a total of 20 people in nine countries in connection with human rights violations.
The United States has said that the performance of these two officials of the Islamic Emirate deprived Afghan women of their rights and prevented them from continuing their education.
However, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, published an article on the X channel and wrote that we condemn the imposition of sanctions by the US Treasury Department on two officials of the Islamic Emirate (Sheikh Fariduddin Mahmoud and Sheikh Mohammad Khaled Hanafi).
He added that pressure and sanctions are not the solution to any problem.
The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate added: "While the United States itself is one of the biggest violators of human rights due to its support for Israel, accusing others of violating human rights and then imposing sanctions on them is unjustifiable and illogical on the part of the United States."
Qadir Ahmadi, an expert on international relations, said in an interview with AVA that the Americans want to put pressure on the government in Afghanistan by sanctioning the officials of the Islamic Emirate, in order to achieve their illegitimate demands in our country.
He stated that the Westerners, especially the Americans, have not and will not adhere to any of their commitments, adding that the sanctioning of the officials of the Islamic Emirate by the United States is media propaganda, and has had no effect on governance in Afghanistan.
This expert on international relations noted: The hegemony that America had in the world in the past years and its sanctions were effective, has now decreased and lost its superpower.
Ahmadi clarified that if the leaders of the Islamic Emirate improve their relations with the countries of the region, especially the neighboring countries, due to the geographical position of Afghanistan in the region, it will become an economic crossroads of Asia, otherwise there is a need to recognize the Afghan government from America and Western countries are not.
Also, Qadratullah Momand, a political expert, told AVA that during the last two years, the United States tried hard to find an alternative to the existing government in Afghanistan by sanctioning the officials of the Islamic Emirate, but it was unsuccessful, because the Islamic Emirate on the one hand , is supported by the people, and on the other hand, it has made remarkable achievements in governance in the last two years.
He expressed that America's interests are tied to the war in Afghanistan, for this reason, this country wants to turn our country into a battlefield once again by sanctioning the officials of the Islamic Emirate and supporting the opponents of the Afghan government.
This political expert added: It is good that the leaders of the Islamic Emirate improve their relations with the countries of the world, but they should not give in to the pressure of America, so that they achieve their illegitimate demands in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, the names of several high-ranking officials of the Islamic Emirate are on the United Nations blacklist.
