Different effects of ceasefire and prisoner exchange for both Israeli and Palestinian sides

1 Dec 2023 - 14:12

At the same time as the ceasefire signed between the Palestinian resistance movement (Hamas) and the Zionist regime entered the seventh and last day, informed sources announced the readiness of both sides to exchange a new group of prisoners and the possibility of extending the ceasefire agreement by one day.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA  - International Service: Qatar, Egypt, Israel and the US are discussing the extension of the ceasefire in Qatar.

On Monday evening, the Zionist regime and the Hamas movement, with the mediation of Egypt, Qatar and the United States, agreed on a two-day extension of the ceasefire, which will end today if it is not extended.

Last Wednesday, after several days of indirect negotiations, the Zionist regime and the Palestinian resistance reached an agreement for a temporary ceasefire for four days and the exchange of prisoners.

According to the prisoner exchange agreement, the first phase of which came into effect last Friday, in exchange for the release of each Zionist prisoner, three Palestinian prisoners will be released from the prisons of the Zionist regime.

This agreement was made while the Zionist regime was forced to accept the conditions of resistance. The Zionist regime has admitted that it has not achieved anything in the Gaza Strip, it has not been able to free its prisoners, nor has it been able to destroy the Palestinian resistance.

The exchange of prisoners has had mixed results on both sides. On the Palestinian side, welcoming the release of a number of Palestinian prisoners is a salve for the wounds inflicted on the bloody bodies of Gaza, and at the same time, it has strengthened the Palestinian unity.

The new challenge of the Zionist regime in the issue of prisoner exchange

On the other hand, the exchange of prisoners has become a new challenge for the Zionist regime, especially the cabinet and the person of the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to Haaretz newspaper, the words of the freed Israeli prisoners regarding the way Hamas treats them is a fatal blow to Netanyahu, who is trying to describe the Hamas movement as a terrorist movement that tries to destroy the Jews in general, but these words caused this Discourse and narration will be in trouble and the authentic face of Palestinian resistance will be revealed.

This newspaper reported, quoting one of the freed prisoners: "Yahya al-Sanwar, the leader of Hamas in Gaza, met with some Israeli prisoners in one of the tunnels in the first days of the war and assured them that they would not be harmed. As part of the exchange agreement, they will be returned."

In contrast, Palestinian captive women who were recently released during the agreement between the Hamas movement and the Zionist regime reveal the tortures of the Zionist occupation against the Palestinian prisoners.

Also, after the investigation of the Zionist newspaper "Yediot Aharnot" about the involvement of the Israeli regime in the killing of the Zionist settlers, Channel 12 of this regime also published an interview with the female Zionist soldiers who said that these soldiers themselves shot at the houses of the settlers on the day They confess on October 7th.

On the other hand, the media of the Zionist regime, referring to the concern of the Zionist settlers in the occupied northern part of Palestine to return to their places of residence due to the fear of Hezbollah and their anger at the failure of the Minister of War of this regime to ensure their security, said: "The settlers of Naqsh" They will not play "duck" in the shooting range to be hunted by Hezbollah.

Despite the fact that the borders of Lebanon are experiencing a peaceful situation at the same time as the cease-fire was announced in Gaza, "Orly Jarbi", the head of the committee of the Zionist settlement "Ulama" in the Galilee region in the north of the occupied Palestine, said that life is difficult due to the bombing, rocket fire and the sound of sirens. The danger has turned into a nightmare.

Under the blows of the Lebanese resistance in support of the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza strip, five Zionist settlements in the north of the occupied Palestine and near the border of Lebanon were evacuated and 70,000 settlers living there fled to the depths of the occupied Palestine.

Considering these cases, it can be said that whether the ceasefire continues or ends, it will have serious consequences for the Zionist regime and the extremist government of Netanyahu.
