Azerbaijan announced an agreement with Armenia for border demarcation meetings

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan announced today (Thursday, November 30) that the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia agreed to hold serious meetings of the border demarcation commissions of the two countries.


Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan states: On November 30, the fifth meeting of the State Commission for Delimitation of Borders between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia and the Commission for Delimitation of National Borders and Border Security between the Republic of Armenia and The Republic of Azerbaijan was held on the border of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia.The parties also agreed to intensify the meetings of the commissions.
 
According to ISNA, previously, the fifth meeting of the commissions for drawing the borders of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan was held on the border of the two countries. The parties continued to discuss the delimitation issues and discussed a number of organizational and procedural issues.
 
The ministry announced in a statement: The parties agreed to start working on the draft regulations for the joint activities of the border commissions and also agreed to increase the meetings of the commissions.
 
It should be mentioned that Azariaijan managed to clear the mountainous region of Karabagh in a one-day conflict about two months ago.
