The representatives of the member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization have reviewed the current situation in Afghanistan during a joint meeting on Thursday.


Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Representatives of the member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization have discussed the situation in Afghanistan under the rule of the Islamic Emirate, along with other regional issues, during a joint meeting on Thursday, November 23.
 
Tass news agency quoted a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and reported that in the meeting that was held in Minsk, the participants continued to discuss terrorism and drug trafficking.
 
According to this statement, the Collective Security Treaty Organization has emphasized on strengthening foreign policy and cooperation with other international and regional organizations.
 
Earlier, General Anatoly Siderov, the head of the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, said that "to date, there is no fundamental problem regarding military security or military danger coming from Afghanistan." But at the same time, we realize that the current leadership of Afghanistan still does not fully control the situation in the country."
 
The member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization are more concerned about the threats of terrorism from this country due to their long border with Afghanistan.
 
Meanwhile, the members of this organization have emphasized in their previous meeting that they are taking measures to curb the threat of terrorism from Afghanistan.
