The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry urged that the Zionist regime should be identified as a “terrorist entity” and its leaders be prosecuted for war crimes considering a whole range of atrocities they have committed against Gaza in a fortnight’s time.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Monitoring: In a post on his X account on Saturday, Nasser Kanaani said all people advocating freedom, justice and fairness across the world are demanding that the Israeli regime be designated internationally as a terrorist entity and the Zionist leaders be prosecuted and punished as war criminals.

Denouncing the Israeli regime’s catastrophic airstrike on the Greek Orthodox Saint Porphyrius Church in Gaza City after a litany of heinous attacks on mosques and schools, the spokesman said the Zionist regime has crossed the border of insanity.

Kanaani said the Israeli atrocities amount to a “major and shameful moral scandal” for the governments that have provided unconditional support for the Zionist regime but, at the same time, give human rights lessons to others.

“Occupation, aggression, war, crime, assassination, genocide, child murder, attacks on mosques, churches, hospitals, ambulances and rescue vehicles, schools, houses and residential compounds, refugee shelters, journalists etc. are all crimes that are collectively typified in the contemporary world by a fake regime and terrorist entity called ‘Israel’ with a history of 75 years of nonstop crimes,” the Iranian spokesman added.
