Japan cooperates with Afghanistan's Ministry of Education in the field of school construction
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The ambassador of Japan said in a meeting with the Acting Minister of Education that his country is committed to continue cooperation with Afghanistan's education.
The press office of the Ministry of Education has published a newsletter today (Thursday, October 19, 2023) and said that Maulavi Habibullah Agha, the Acting Minister of the Ministry, met with the Ambassador of Japan residing in Kabul.
In this meeting, Taka Yoshi Kurumiya, the ambassador of Japan, referring to the history of good relations between Afghanistan and his country, stated that Japan, as in the past, remains by the side of the Ministry of Education of Afghanistan and supports the plans and programs of this ministry.
The new ambassador of Japan, reminding about the construction of 165 schools, which was already built by the mentioned country and took a total of 25 million dollars, promised that Japan is ready to build schools in Afghanistan in the future in coordination with this ministry.
The Acting Minister of Education expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the country's assistance and support for the reconstruction process in Afghanistan, including assistance to education, and said that the Ministry is ready to cooperate and facilitate the implementation of the Japanese Embassy's plan.
It should be mentioned that Japan has political and economic relations with the Islamic Emirate and seeks cooperation with the Afghan government in various sectors.
