AVA - Kazakh Diplomat Arrives in Herat

Deputy Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Afghanistan, arrived in Herat with a rescue team and aid cargo to assist survivors.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, During his visit, Sarsinbai met with Sheikh Mawlana Nur Ahmad Islam Jar, the Governor of Herat, and expressed his sympathy for the devastating disaster that resulted in thousands of casualties.

Sarsinbai affirmed Kazakhstan’s readiness to cooperate in any way necessary to assist the people affected by the earthquake in this province.

The Governor of Herat expressed his gratitude for Kazakhstan’s assistance, stating that it will help address some of the needs of the earthquake victims.

Tomorrow, Kazakhstan’s relief team, along with the Deputy Ambassador, is scheduled to visit the earthquake site.
