The first aftershock with a magnitude of 5.5 occurred at 11:20 local time at a depth of 11 km in Zindajan district.
 
The second earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 occurred at 11:40 local time at a depth of 10 km in Zinda Jan district.
 
The third earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 occurred at 11:42 local time at a depth of 10 km in Zindajan district.
 
The first earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 on the Richter scale (internal earth waves) shook Herat and other neighboring provinces at 11:11 this morning local time.
 
According to the International Seismological Database, the epicenter of this earthquake was at a depth of 10 km in the center of Zinda Jan district of Herat province.
 
This earthquake and its aftershocks have caused people to panic and leave their homes to the streets. Currently, electricity has been cut in all parts of Herat city due to the earthquake.
 
So far, no reports have been published about the casualties and possible damages of this earthquake and its aftershocks.
