Decisive implementation of the decree banning the hunting and smuggling of rare birds in Balkh

By returning some rare birds to nature, the officials in Balkh province's environmental department say that hunting and smuggling of rare or rare wild birds is prohibited and these birds are important and valuable for preserving the nature and wildlife of the country. They are requested not to commit such an act, otherwise they will be arrested.


Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: Maulavi Mohammad Mohammadi, head of the environment of Balkh province, told the media after returning a number of rare birds hunted by irresponsible people in nature: "The bird's wings are of a good type and the wind is fed by the hunters in the village." The new hope was received near the port town of Hairatan and these hunters were handed over to judicial institutions.
 
He considered rare wild birds to be important for preserving the environment and wildlife and added that the birds received from hunters were returned to nature and according to the decree of the government leadership, no one has the right to hunt birds and violators will be dealt with legally.
 
Maulavi Mohammadi added that the hunting and smuggling of rare or rare wild birds has been prohibited by the order of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate and these birds are important and valuable for preserving the nature and wildlife of the country, therefore the general public is requested not to commit such an act.
 
He advised the hunters to stop hunting rare animals and to turn to other jobs.
 
Officials in the Provincial Environment Department said: A large number of wild animals, including snakes, birds and other species, were taken from hunters last year and released into the wild.
 
They added that all government departments cooperate with us in preserving the environment and wildlife, and on the other hand, there is monitoring of factories and bathrooms that use coal so that they do not pollute the atmosphere.
 
On the other hand, a number of bird sellers in Mazar-e-Sharif city welcomed the release of the hunted birds by the authorities and said: We are not satisfied with harming the wildlife and the environment, and such actions prevent hunters seeking profit in the matter of smuggling and hunting rare birds.
