Austrian Officials: Afghanistan’s Situation Is More Positive Than Media Portrayal

A leading member of the Freedom Party of Austria met with Islamic Emirate’s Acting Foreign Minister, Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi in Kabul.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The Austrian official expressed that the situation in Afghanistan is better than what is being portrayed by the media.

During the meeting, Foreign Minister Muttaqi discussed the provision of consular services and other facilities in Austria to address the issues faced by Afghans in Vienna.

The Austrian official, Mr. Yohannes, expressed regret that the current Afghan government has not yet been recognized internationally, despite having ensured overall security and ending four decades of conflict.

The members of the Freedom Party pledged to present a more accurate picture of the current situation in Afghanistan to Europe and share it with their officials.
