Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Maulana Fazal-ur-Rahman, the leader of Jamiat Ulema Islam Pakistan, in a meeting held in Peshawar (Sunday, September 17, 2023), asked the government of Pakistan and Afghanistan to establish a joint commission through mutual consultations. In the latest case of tension, Pakistani and Afghan forces clashed about two weeks ago near the Torkham crossing over the construction of a shell, as a result of which the crossing was closed for 9 days.
