The newly appointed ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the Islamic Republic of Iran met with the Iranian Foreign Minister and presented him with a copy of his credentials.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: Iranian media have reported that Saudi Arabia's Ambassador Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi had a discussion with Iran's Foreign Minister Amir Abdullahian regarding some bilateral and regional issues.
 
"Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi", the ambassador of Saudi Arabia, arrived in Tehran on the September 10, 2023 to settle in the place of his mission. On the same day, Alireza Enayati, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Saudi Arabia, went to Riyadh and started his mission.
 
Based on this, the level of Iranian and Saudi diplomatic delegations was upgraded to ambassador level.
 
Iran and Saudi Arabia broke ties with China in Pisces last year after seven cuts.
