Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, According to a statement released by Prime Minister Office, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, had a farewell meeting with Cihad Erginay, the ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Afghanistan.
In the meeting, which was held in the Arg Palace, the Turkish ambassador said that he was happy to work with the Islamic Emirate for the past two and a half years, and that Turkey’s priority has always been the prosperity and happiness of the Afghan people.
He thanked the Islamic Emirate for ensuring the security of the Turkish embassy and consulate in Afghanistan and stressed that his country’s assistance and cooperation will increase in the future to Afghanistan.
Cihad Erginay said, commercial deals between Turkey and Afghanistan have now reached to $ 300 million annually. “We hope that the level of trade between the two countries will increase to one billion in the future.”
He pointed out that the embassy has always encouraged Turkish businessmen and investors to invest in Afghanistan.
On his part, Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi said that the friendship between the people of Afghanistan and Turkey has been long-standing and close, and the two countries have always had positive relations.
He added that the Islamic Emirate desires to expand relations with Turkey in political, economic, commercial and educational fields.
Deputy Minister for Administrative Affairs welcomed the expansion of trade and economic relations between the two countries, and said, “We hope that more facilities will be provided in the field of issuing visas to Afghan businessmen, and that the Islamic Emirate supports Turkish investors in various sectors in Afghanistan.”
