The fight against drug production and trafficking is the focus of the dialogue between the authorities of Iran and Afghanistan
Sayed Hasan Mortazavi, the deputy of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul, discussed with his colleague Abdul Haq Akhund, the deputy directorate of counternarcotic of the Ministry of Interior, about the development of cooperation between Kabul and Tehran in the field of combating drug production and trafficking.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul announced that Sayed Hassan Mortazavi, the deputy of the embassy of this country in Kabul, met and discussed with his colleague Abdul Haq Akhund, the deputy of the anti-narcotics department of the Ministry of Interior of the Islamic Emirate.
Helping drug addiction centers in Kabul was also part of the discussions in this meeting.
It should be mentioned that in the last twenty years, Afghanistan had become the center of drug production and trafficking to neighboring countries and the world, but with the decree of the leader of the Islamic Emirate to ban the cultivation, production and trafficking of drugs has decreased.
