AVA - Afghan Police Arrested 33 criminal suspects in 34 Provinces

A statement of the Ministry of Interior Affairs said, 33 suspects for involvement in criminal activities were arrested by the Afghan police in 34 provinces.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The people were arrested on Wednesday for illegal activities such as murder, robbery, mobile snatching, forgery, theft and drug smuggling, the statement said, adding that further investigations were underway.

In a similar crackdown, police have arrested 28 suspects in Afghanistan's northern Balkh province over the past week.

The Afghan caretaker government has vowed to crack down on criminal elements in Afghanistan to ensure law and order in the war-torn country.
