Explosion in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan; At least 40 people were killed and more than 200 people were injured
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Pakistani media and health authorities of this country have confirmed that the death toll of the explosion at the Jamiat Ulema Islam Pakistan conference has increased to 40 dead and more than 200 injured.
Earlier and in the early hours of the explosion, it was reported that 20 people were killed and around 80 injured.
The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate condemned the explosion at the Jamiat Ulema Islam Pakistan conference in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Zabihullah Mujahid wrote in a tweet: "Such crimes cannot be justified in any way."
No one has yet taken responsibility for this incident.
According to reports, Maulana Zia-ul-Haq Haqqani, one of the leaders of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, was killed in this explosion.
No person or group has yet claimed responsibility for this incident.
