AVA - Turkey Ready to Provide Medical Treatment for Afghan Children

In a meeting with the head of the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS), an official of Turkish Red Crescent vowed to provide assistance treating children suffering from heart hole disease.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The Afghan Red Crescent Society, says, Mawlavi Mutiul Haq Khalis, the head of ARCS in Turkey, met with the executive officer of the Red Crescent of this country.

In the meeting, Mawlavi Mutiul Haq Khalis hailed the constructive support of the people of Turkey and spoke in detail about the treatment of children suffering from heart hole disease by the Afghan Red Crescent Society, care of orphaned families in nursing homes, protection and treatment of mental patients and cash assistance to widows, orphans, and beggars.

For his part the Turkish side, vowed to assist in treating children suffering from heart hole disease, adding that they will cooperate with the Afghan Red Crescent Society in this respect.

He said that they will try to work on a regular mechanism of sustainable humanitarian aid with Afghanistan in cooperation with Turkish charities organization.
