Ahmadi added that after the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, no restrictions have been imposed on international flights by foreign countries, and due to the efforts of the new government, several direct flights, including Kabul-Doha, some cities in Saudi Arabia and Turkey, have also been opened, and flights are carried out from 4 international airports of the country practically every week.
Dozens of people have graduated from Aviation Institute
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation announced the activeness of the "Civil Aviation Institute" and said that last year more than 150 people were recruited in this institute, and after one year, 53 of them graduated from this institute in the fields of ATC or air technical departments as well as CNS or airspace control.
Ahmadi added that this year 85 new students have been recruited to this institute, and some parts of their courses are supposed to be taught to them abroad.
The equipment of the country's airports has been completed / the airspace control equipment has been purchased
Ahmadi further said that the equipment destroyed by the American forces has been bought again and the country's airports are providing service in the civil sector as before.
Ahmadi, however, said that some military equipment that did not exist in the country before or was destroyed by NATO, is in the process of being purchased, and with its installation, Afghanistan's atmosphere will be completely under control.
Based on his statements; Contracts have been made with the foreign company "Gag" in the field of "ground handling" or aviation security services, air services for all of Afghanistan, as well as the purchase of some air equipment, of which two parts have been completed and the third part is being completed.
The spokesman of the ministry said that the restoration of some airports in the country and the construction of terminals in some airports are part of the future plans of the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation.
The price of air tickets has decreased
The spokesman of the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation emphasized in his statement that although the price of jet fuel has increased from 600 to 1700 dollars per ton globally; But due to the efforts of this ministry, the price of domestic and foreign tickets has decreased in the country.
Ahmadi pointed out that with the establishment of the Islamic Emirate and the destruction of airport equipment by the Americans, domestic companies stopped operating and the ground was created for the abuse of Pakistani companies, adding that Pakistani companies increased the price of the Kabul-Islamabad flight from $300 to $2,500; But at the earliest opportunity, the Islamic Emirate was able to return the price of tickets to normal by purchasing equipment and reactivating domestic companies.
Ahmadi also said that there has been a significant decrease in the price of domestic tickets in the last two years.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation, however, attributed the recent increase in the price of tickets between Dubai and Saudi Arabia to the addition of "operation cost" and "load factor" and the lack of two-way passengers for domestic companies, and added that Saudi Arabia and Dubai have recently suspended visit visas for most countries.
Based on Ahmadi's statements; The technical teams of the Ministry of Transportation had a special meeting with the officials of Ariana and Com Air companies and after weighing all the costs of these companies, including "taxes and fees for services of foreign countries", "oil costs", "load factor", "number of passengers in round trip" and some other cases, they have set a price for foreign tickets, which shows a slight increase compared to a few months ago.
He said that this increase shows a significant decrease compared to the previous government.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation makes these statements while two years ago with the overthrow of the Republic of Afghanistan government, all the equipment of the Kabul airport, including several helicopter wings, were destroyed by foreign forces.
