The Minister of Narcotics Control of the Ministry of Interior met with the head of the United Nations Office on Narcotic Crimes
In a meeting with the head of the United Nations Office on Narcotic Crimes, the deputy counter-narcotics deputy of the Ministry of Interior said that the anti-narcotics program has continued throughout Afghanistan and so far most of the poppy cultivation fields have been destroyed.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Ministry of Interior Affairs said that "Mullah Abdulhaq Akhund", the deputy of counter-narcotics of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, yesterday Tuesday, July 18, with Mrs. Anubasud, the head of the United Nations Counter Narcotics and Crime Office in Kabul has visited.
It has been said that in this meeting, the Deputy Ministry of Interior asked Mrs. Anubasud for cooperation regarding alternative cultivation for farmers in the country and cooperation regarding the treatment of drug addicts and creation of employment opportunities for them.
According to Bakhtar Agency, he added: The program to fight against drugs in the country continues and so far most of the poppy fields in the country have been destroyed.
It has been said that in this meeting Mrs. Anubasud and Ahdeh Sapardeh, whose office cooperates with Afghanistan in the field of alternative cultivation for farmers and treatment of drug addicts.
