Acting Minister Muttaqi: Current Afghan Gov is More Inclusive than Regional Countries
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, A meeting was held late Monday on the third day of the second national and international exhibition of Imam Abu Hanifa, by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Industry, and Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce and Investment, in conception to meet with the businessmen and investors of the region in the capital Kabul, according to a statement.
In this meeting, FM Muttaqi said that Afghanistan is the closest and best way to trade and connect between Central and South Asia.
“Afghanistan’s exports last year reached 1.9 billion dollars, which was unprecedented in the country’s trade history, and despite all the problems and restrictions, Afghanistan’s economic situation is better now,” he added.
He said that the Islamic Emirate has done significant work in the sector of poppy eradication and alternative cultivation.
Afghanistan by having enough water, land, suitable climate, and human power, only needs to invest in agriculture, so that agricultural products can be processed in a good way and exported to other countries, mainly to South and Central Asia, Muttaqi says.
He said the Islamic Emirate is ready to work jointly with its economic partners in the sector of mining.
Meanwhile, he asked the international community not to link trade with politics and to work together with the Islamic Emirate in this respect.
Likewise, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mawlavi Qudratullah Jamal assured all national and international investors and businessmen of all kinds of cooperation and asked them to invest in Afghanistan with confidence.
On Sunday, the national and international Imam Abu Hanifa expo was opened in the capital Kabul and will continue for a week.
